Maureen Kauzlarich
Maureen Kauzlarich grew up riding her bike to the library every week and read the entire kids' section (mostly middle-grade books). She also wrote diligently in a journal every single day and pretty much stayed outside as a kid. She didn't know she wanted to be a children's author until her early 20's when she published a picture book. At that time she also became a mother. She is married with two kids and a cat named Phoebe. She still loves to read, write, and play outdoors, but now she does it with her own children. She holds a B.A. in Creative Writing and English.
